Jimi Hendrix Experience
a mild simulation

HENDRIX Slideshow X2

The Jimi Hendrix Experience (with Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell, drums) played their final Toronto concert on May 3, 1969. Most of the 12,000 who attended his Maple Leaf Gardens show were unaware that Hendrix had been charged with possession of drugs after landing at the airport. The charges were dropped 4 months later. That distraction did not interfere with his performance.
His Marshall amplifiers in overdrive, Hendrix led the audience through an Electric Ladyland experience.
(Noter: This was the first concert I shot as a freelancer accredited by The Toronto Star - GPJ.)
